Yesterday was good. I received the best news i’ve had in a while.

My father has been nominated for the Sitara-e-Imtiaz (Military) yesterday for his services rendered for the state of Pakistan. The award will be conferred on 14th of August 2007. The letters SI(M) will be entered after his name for the coming years.

YAYYY!!!! Go Dad!!!

I’ve used to see him watching TV on the 14th August, military personnel being conferred some of the highest honors in the service, and wanting to be one of them too. This year, his dream will come true.

For the first time in my life, i actually shouted in joy! Here’s wishing a further illustrious career to you dad!
